Your Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for fixed-asset accounting as well as the commercial support and evaluation of capital investment projects
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (HGB, IFRS)
  • Acting as the main point of contact for technical questions within the team and for accounting and tax matters
  • Handling tax topics including VAT, working together with tax advisors and auditors
  • Accounting and tax support for foreign permanent establishments
  • Independently coordinating and producing analyses, reports, statistics and presentations
  • Contributing to process optimisation and digitalisation within the accounting department
Your Qualifications
  • A degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and controlling, or a commercial qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK)
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting or controlling
  • Sound knowledge of German commercial and tax law
  • Experience with international matters and foreign permanent establishments
  • A structured, self-reliant working style and good communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of and experience with SAP R/3 and MS Office
  • A good command of English is an advantage
