Your Responsibilities
  • Capacity, resource, and schedule planning for in-house manufacturing
  • Identifying milestones for customer projects
  • Verifying the plausibility of manufacturing hours for quotes in in-house manufacturing
  • Creating and maintaining production schedules and material master data
  • Managing production processes based on schedules, costs, and capacity using the Proxia detailed planning tool
  • Monitoring and ensuring on-time completion
  • Continuous optimization of planning processes
  • Organizing and overseeing change management (approving and activating changes for production; creating changes based on sales order schedules)
  • Reporting of acceptance steps
  • Coordinating external contractors and managing the production foreman teams
  • Close coordination with production, project management, quality assurance, and other related departments
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)
Your Qualifications
  • A degree in mechanical engineering, or alternatively, training as a mechanical engineering technician with relevant professional experience or comparable training
  • Leadership experience and a willingness to take charge of a team
  • Several years of experience in production planning and control
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and approach, as well as the ability to work independently, systematically, and analytically
  • Technical expertise, a goal-oriented approach, and the perseverance to find solutions
  • Experience in plant, equipment, vessel, or special-purpose machinery manufacturing
  • Flexibility, resilience, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP PP is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of time management, lean methods, and welding technology
  • Strong communication skills and a good command of English
