Senior Production Planner (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
  • Capacity, resource and schedule planning for in-house production
  • Defining the milestones for customer projects
  • Plausibility checks of production hours for quotations in in-house production
  • Creating and maintaining production flow plans and material master data
  • Schedule-, cost- and capacity-oriented control of production workflows using the Proxia detailed planning tool
  • Monitoring and ensuring on-time completion
  • Continuously optimising the planning processes
  • Organising and managing change management
  • Reporting acceptance steps
  • Coordinating external contractors and steering the supervisor-led areas of production
  • Close coordination with production, project management, quality and other neighbouring departments
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)
Your Qualifications
  • A degree in mechanical engineering, or alternatively further training as a certified mechanical engineering technician with relevant professional experience, or a comparable qualification
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting combined with a self-reliant, systematic and analytical working style
  • Technical competence, goal orientation and the persistence to bring about solutions
  • Flexibility, resilience and organisational talent
  • Confident use of MS Office; experience with SAP PP desirable
  • Basic knowledge of time management, lean methods and welding technology
  • Strong communication skills and a good command of English
