Your Responsibilities
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the purchasing team
  • Responsibility for managing and continuously optimising strategic and operational purchasing
  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to ensure economical and sustainable procurement
  • Conducting supplier searches and supplier selection as well as regular supplier evaluations
  • Building, expanding, maintaining and developing national and international supplier relationships
  • Conducting price and contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Contributing to make-or-buy decisions and developing corresponding procurement concepts
  • Conducting market, price and competition analyses to identify savings potential
  • Analysing and monitoring procurement markets and deriving appropriate measures
  • Close cooperation with production, production planning, design engineering and project management
  • Ensuring the on-time supply of materials for our projects
  • Responsibility for purchasing KPIs and the preparation of analyses and reports
Your Qualifications
  • Successfully completed commercial or technical training with further qualification as a certified business specialist (Fachwirt/Betriebswirt), or a degree with a corresponding focus
  • Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing, ideally in plant engineering, mechanical engineering or special-purpose machinery
  • Initial leadership experience or several years in a position of responsibility in purchasing
  • Very good knowledge of IT-supported purchasing processes, including SAP MM
  • Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English
  • Strong negotiating skills and a confident manner
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • A high sense of responsibility and absolute trustworthiness
  • A resilient, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Strong team and communication skills
